The title of the post is How to Create an Aged Finish (not my face which was done successfully with too much sun!) but how to create a gorgeous old look using paint.
The dry sink was originally in a neighbor’s house and she gave it me. It has a very old marble top and I loved it at first sight.
To create an aged look, I used a base coat of chalk paint, and then blended in a dark green/brown hue, and added a lighter white to the details. The whole piece was sanded back and waxed and a new drawer pull added.
