Incredible Transformation: From Dull to Vibrant with Green Furniture
The month of October has brought many projects painted in green. Here are a few to share!
First up are a pair of very nice chairs and we went with the color Dried Sage to tie in with the green in the fabric and give them new life for my client’s living room. The “before” was a dinged up creamy yellow (left pic), and the after brings back their elegance.
Next up for October is this pair of corner cabinets. I had at one time painted them in blue and added a transfer. However, my friend really wanted them in green and we decided on the color Cactus by Dixie Belle Paints in their Silk paint line. This paint has a primer built in and does not need sealing.
And, last but definitely not least, is the vintage dresser painted in the same color, Cactus and sealed in Dixie Belle’s clear coat gloss. My YouTube video on the paint and sealer process is linked here and it shows how I apply a super shiny finish onto my painted surfaces with no brush marks or streaks.
One more “green” project to share below!
Have a great week :)
