Shall I Remove the Wallpaper or Leave As-Is?

What do you all think? Is it time to take it down the wallpaper or decorate around it? I would love your opinion!

The rug is going to stay, but I would like a “real” sofa and a few chairs in the room that we can actually use! The green dresser is one I painted in this super bright green for Dixie Belle paint and I use it in the room but I’m not crazy about that color. Maybe I will sell it and start looking for something different for the space. It is a hard room to figure out because of the fireplace placement and only two walls to use for furniture placement.
