A Sweet Vintage Desk Makeover

I’m sharing this very sweet desk makeover today. It is a pretty little piece and came out beautifully in a gorgeous, deep red.

I found this piece at my local thrift store and someone had tried to refinish it at some point but had given up. I used Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint in the color Merlot, a very pretty decoupage paper from their Belles and Whistles line, as well as wax and gilding wax.
