Get an Incredible Shine: Paint Perfectly with a High-Gloss Finish
I hope you have all been enjoying your Fall weather! We have been in Secretary lately and I am publishing a video to share on how it is coming along! Our kitchen is still a mess, but the rest of the house is looking good.
I know I don’t post a lot lately. I had a hard year with my dad passing away after a fight with cancer. It took a lot out of me and I didn’t have a ton of extra time or energy to spend on painting. I also work a “real” job that takes up most hours of my day (I am sure you all can relate!). I still want to share with you whenever I can and I hope you all still enjoy these posts.
On to today!
This post is all about a dresser that I have owned for years. It was in my daughter’s room. Here is a pic of the “before”. It had been painted in chalk paint with a wash of white and a whitewashed top.
My daughter no longer wants the dresser and I decided to give it a glam makeover! The color is Cactus by Dixie Belle Silk Mineral Paint. I really like its glow-up! This paint doesn’t require a sealer but I decided to use their Clear Coat in Gloss to give it a gorgeous shine. How I applied the topcoat is in the video below.
Enjoy!
